The use of computing power available on demand in the cloud, with environments adapted to data collection, storage and redistribution, is accelerating research in many fields. In the Healthcare sector, the Institut Pasteur will be presenting its project to assemble and index all available DNA and RNA sequences from all living organisms on Earth, in order to accelerate the identification and search for new variants, which was carried out in the AWS cloud using the many scalability and performance features available.
