Description
Matthieu Parmentier holds a Master 2 and a DRT in audiovisual research, and is passionate about recording classical music. He co-founded Numérisson in 2000. France 2 hired him as a sound engineer before entrusting him with the management of technological projects related to High Definition video and multichannel sound. In 2010, he joined France Télévisions' "Innovations et Développements" department, where for 8 years he coordinated R&D projects in the fields of 3D and binaural sound, Ultra High Definition video and all associated metadata. In 2019, the company entrusted him with the creation of its Artificial Intelligence department, which he piloted until 2023, when he joined France TV Studio to manage the france.tv access production unit. Matthieu co-chairs the Audio Engineering Society's "Broadcast an Online Delivery" technical committee. Since 2021, he has also been special delegate for entrepreneurship and the ecological transition of the Cultural and Creative Industries within the Cap Digital competitiveness cluster.
