Description
Fabrice Cantos is HPC infrastructure specialist for TotalEnergies. Fabrice has twenty years' experience in the HPC ecosystem. After starting out as a scientific developer, he pursued his career internationally for ten years. He took part in the multi-year development of New Zealand's scientific research infrastructure, for which he will support installation and operations. At the same time, as operational manager, he was in charge of New Zealand's critical meteorological computing resources. Fabrice was briefly director-at-large of the Cray User Group. Fabrice joined TotalEnergies in 2020. In particular, he pilots the Pangea(s) HPC infrastructure renewal projects, which serve all TotalEnergies' HPC uses. His focus is on infrastructure flexibility, to satisfy both critical operational needs and provide the tools needed to advance scientific innovation.
